These aren’t just any flowers…. this is love.

Flower farmer and florist based in Yorkshire based at Carlton, near Selby, North Yorkshire, growing Dahlias is a rewarding and colourful experience. Located in the fertile ground of the Lower River Aire Valley, we cultivate vibrant Dahlias that celebrate the best of summer and Autumn colours. These flowers are grown in well tended fields and greenhouses and we carefully select varieties that grow and perform well on this fertile land.

With a wide variety of sizes, colours and shapes, Dahlias are a firm favourite with gardeners and Florists alike. We offer stunning blooms with stem lengths to suit the style you need.

Dahlias by the stem, bucket or complete occasion

Tracey inherited an interest in Dahlias from her Dad on their family nursery but has taken to exhibiting blooms to National championship standards with Pompon, Waterlily and Collerette Dahlias being her speciality. In recent years Tracey has been breeding new varieties of Dahlias and these have been added to the range. The quality and freshness of the flowers will make your job so much easier.

Disa orchids are a striking and unique group of orchids native to Southern Africa. Known for their vibrant and showy flowers, Disa’s are often characterised by their vivid colours ranging from reds, pinks and oranges to whites. They are intricate and unusual shapes. They typically grow in cool, high altitude areas, such as mountain slopes or boggy marshes. These are all grown in greenhouses in Yorkshire.

These orchids require specific growing conditions including cooler temperatures , high humidity and bright but indirect sunlight. In cultivation they can grow in post in a well aerated growing medium such as sphagnum moss. The benefit from regular watering and misting to maintain the humidity. They are tricky to grow but flower annually and add a touch of wow, elegance and rarity to any design.
